From the EDITOR..

Welcome to the July issue of Computer Pilot. As you can tell from my voice this is not Dean…no, it’s Derek. Or better known as “Baron”! While Dean’s away, doing a spot of “VFR”,I’m in the “Hot Seat” for this issue.

We have a fantastic issue for you this month, with articles covering a wide spectrum ofsubjects. For example, ever wanted to build your own GA cockpit? (I know…your ‘better half’ won’t let you!), well, if you have, we offer some great hints and tips on how to get started.

For those with a hankering for the great outdoors and adventure, we have a piece on flying the Canadian Rockies.

On a more serious note, we have a couple of articles that examine aviation accidents and what part flight simulation can play in getting a better understanding of such tragic events. In fact there’s so much packed into this issue, including informative tutorials, product reviews, hints and tips, I’d better let you get on and read them.

There’s an old saying that says: “variety is the spice of life”, well…that’s what you get with Computer Pilot magazine!

Enjoy!
Derek “Baron” Davis.
“Acting” Editor!
