From the EDITOR..
Aloha, and Mahalo! No, I’m not in Hawaii (although I wish I was) but have just been scooting around some nice holiday destinations using Lago’s Holiday Resorts add-on which is reviewed in this issue. We also have a review of the Meridian DVD bundle package by Flight1 that is worth checking out.
Before I forget… In the Art of Instrument Flying column in the August issue, on Page 80, the HSI image from the Boeing is actually showing us right of runway centerline, not left as described in the text… hey, we are only human! Thanks to those readers that pointed it out.
Combat fans will not want to miss the full review of Warbirds 2004 this issue, plus an excellent accompanying interview with “Wild Bill” Stealey, CEO of IEntertainment Network – publishers of Warbirds. As an added bonus, we have secured a deal that will earn you one free month of Warbirds 2004 online game time! Check the article for details.
There are plenty of flight adventures and ideas to be had this month with Al Pelletier’s regular Round Robin adventure, plus accounts and details of trips flying in Africa and Australia – the land “downunder”. If you are looking for places to see, things to do, or just looking to add a purpose to your sim flights, be sure not to miss these three articles.
As always, we have enjoyed putting this October issue together for you, and we do hope you enjoy reading it cover to cover. See you next month!
